Sound Scribe / Recording Drawing [2013]

'Sound Scribe': Telephone bakelite mouth piece, gramophone pick-up and pipe, long graphite lead

'Recording Drawing' series: Blotting paper, graphite recording lines, music stand

While listening to a certain sound, the soundwaves travel into the mouthpiece,
down the pipe and into the gramophone pick-up. The graphite vibrates as it marks the blotting paper.

The opposite of a sound lathe - The opposite of a sound groove.

Recording Drawing 1: "Listening to my favourite place"
Recording Drawing 2: "Listening to Guido Arezzo" [note:Guido Arezzo invented the Muscial Stave]
